GSM Choice
Making a proper towel buying decisions must include consideration of the density of the towel material, or GSM (grams per square meter). Think of the density of your lawn. The more dense the grass the more cushion under your feet. Same goes for you towels. The higher the GSM, the better they feel to the touch.
The tricky part about a high GSM is the higher the GSM the more water it holds. This can cause time in the dryer to skyrocket and, if not fully dried, cause your luxury towels to not smell so luxurious.
